Global Opportunities
Destiny Church accepts the great commission as a mandate to, “go and make disciples of all nations.” This plays out in two ways: going and giving. Whether it’s seeing our members “going” full time to a mission half way around the world, or “going” on one of our regular short term mission trips, we consider it a privilege and a responsibility to be involved in global outreach. We understand that not everyone can be a part of the “going” team, but everyone can be a part of the “giving” team! So, throughout the year, outreach projects are highlighted, and members are given the opportunity to give of their resources to support global outreach. Destiny also provides monthly support for the following outstanding missions organizations:
- Full Gospel Church, Pastor Pierre – Haiti
- Servants 4 Him – Guatemala
- Kids Connection – SE Washington DC
- Fellowship of Christian Athletes – Loudoun County, Va
Summer Missions Opportunity
Destiny Church will be embarking on two missions trips to Guatemala! We are looking for 20 team members for the second trip to Guatemala. The trip will be held August 15, 2011 to August 22, 2011.
